AIRCRAFT CRASH TAKES SIR BARRY BOWEN

Sir Barry Bowen, owner of Belize Aquaculture Ltd., met an untimely and tragic end when the landing gear of the small Cessna 206 he was piloting struck a building causing the aircraft to flip and crash during its approach to the airfield at San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Friday, February 25th.
Four passengers, Michael and Jill Casey and their two young children ages three and an infant were also killed. The Caseys from New York were teachers at a school founded by Bowen.
Sir Bowan was 64 and leaves a wife, Dixie, a daughter and four sons. He will be missed.
